About the brand

Laughing Elephant of Seattle, Washington began in 1993 and grew from the roots of Green Tiger Press, founded by Sandra and the late Harold Darling in 1969 in San Diego, California. Their son Chev Darling is honored to be the second generation to lead this small, independent publishing house as their family business.

High-quality authentic reproductions of vintage ephemera and classic children’s books illustrations combine retro nostalgia with whimsical modern design. They endeavor to preserve and share historic illustrations in the form of greeting cards, stationery, postcards, magnets, stickers, journals, art prints, calendars and more.
