Sunflower Form

Natural forms and human detritus are animated with sentience and emotion in the work of Daniel Herwitt, also known as Sunflower Form. Created exclusively by hand using watercolor, ink, color pencil, acrylic, charcoal, and airbrush, his pieces pulsate with life even as their impermanent shapes decay on the page. Daniel takes the tropes of psychedelic art and bends them to his own ends, creating a personal psychedelia that reflects the wonder of his own worldview.

Devotion to the Otherworld

Bethany van Rijswijk’s richly layered collages have captivated audiences around the world (they are the stars of Broccoli’s best-selling oracle decks). Devotion to the Otherworld takes readers deeper into her world, where scissors rend to repair and familiar notions of scale and import are disrupted to spellbinding effect. Flowers and toadstools tower over humans, and dew-soaked grasses are parted to reveal other worlds, conjuring lost wisdom and ways of understanding many have forgotten.
